If you are looking for a place to celebrate the holidays, The Vine is your spot! Their roofed in & heated patio is decked out for the holidays & has a special martini & cocktail menu that suits all taste buds! Can't recommend enough and + the staff is fantastic! So kind & attentive. 10/10

Food is always fresh and delicious! I love their patio during summer it is beautiful and comfortable. I've never had a problem with the staff either they are always friendly and willing to answer any questions you may have

Stopped in for Thursday night football. Had my favorite steak trio and the mashed potatoes. love the holiday decorations and the warmth of the patio. My bartender Juan was awesome!

I want to thank The Vine - Grayslake, IL for a very special celebration last night! Celebrating milestone birthdays can be very daunting, but I wanted to do it where I knew I would be able to enjoy. The Vine came through in spectacular fashion! Their holiday decorations, the warm feel and the amazing staff came through! Michael Pruitt and Amy Pruitt have done an amazing job with this restaurant. I know they cannot do it alone! Their staff was amazing, professional and felt like family! Especially Becca, our host for the night! She always had a smile On her face and was very pleasant! She truly was the star of show! So many compliments from the guests on her! Thank you for making a milestone become a memory!

The bacon wrapped dates felt like a true midwestern take on a bacon wrapped date simply because usually they're stuffed with cheese, but in this case it was more meat (specifically chorizo). The chorizo wasn't spicy so I think this would be a great option for anyone. Okay controversial take, but I don't mind raw garlic and if it's minced enough, I probably love it. Their house fries are made-in-house garlic parm and I absolutely loved them, but I think some people might feel differently about raw garlic so yes, I think they could be made more palatable by either roasting or frying the garlic. Dining wise the inside is cute and a great option for date night or to meet up with friends. I think the outside would be more fun for a group. There is a patio outside too but we came kind of late and they were about to close so we didn't check it out. Next time for sure though. And our waiter and the hostess were both great and didn't make us feel rushed at all.

Wow! I love what they've done to the place! In case you haven't heard, The Vine opened their newly constructed patio at the end of June, and it is a great addition to the local dining scene! It is an attractive space with lots of exposed wood beams, plenty of tv's, and an awesome looking bar top. My most recent visit to the patio was on a Tuesday, for lunch with a friend. We decided to sit outside; and even though it was a cool Autumn day, we were perfectly comfortable. We arrived shortly after they opened and there was plenty of seating; by the time we finished-up they had a very nice crowd. My buddy ordered the Santa Fe Chicken Salad, and I had the The Irishman, which is a Burger with Guinness Cheese Dip, an onion ring, and homemade pickles. We both agreed the food was delicious. Service was excellent (as always). I love the new space, and can't wait for my next visit. If you haven't been to The Vine recently, you need to go see for yourself!

Having been to this long time Grayslake bar and restaurant a few times, I for sure can say it's among the best around. It's one of the classier restaurants in town for sure. The Vine is fine, kidding it's actually a lot better than that. Best known for the martinis and other cocktails. You need to get some of the food though, which is a combination of Italian, Mexican, and Middle Eastern among others. Came the last time and we got seats at the bar. It was pretty quiet at lunch. This place gets busy later though. It's about $12 for most of the martinis. Lots of flavors and styles to choose from including fruity and whatever. Best one I had was the Berry Basil Gimlet. This is berry vodka with basil, lime juice, and soda. Has pretty good food for a bar. It's about $15 for the Power Bowls. The Hummus And Veggie one is probably the healthiest thing on the menu. Filling item. This has avocados, carrots, falafel, hummus, kale, lemon, onions, quinoa, red bell peppers, and sweet potatoes. It's loaded. This packed tons of protein and vegetables into one serving. For sure one has to get a martini. It's the place to get a variety of these. The food includes options for meat eaters as well as vegans and vegetarians.
